A Bountiful Morgan County Harvest

Each course of this splendid dinner will showcase locally grown or made ingredients.  Even the chickens are being raised especially for this evening.  Morgan County cheeses, herbs, vegetables, bread, milk, and cream will be used to create a special four-course dinner with paired wine. Dessert will come from the wilds of the county. Each guest will receive a gift from a Madison farmer.  Time to add locavore to your vocabulary!

Dinner on the Orient Express

Bayou Banquet at Beulah's

Who’s Beulah?  You’ll just have to come to this dinner to find out.  Whoever she is, this will be a casual evening of coastal pleasures and treasures from Charleston to New Orleans.  Your hosts promise food and atmosphere to transport you to a relaxed bayou with good people and good times.

No need to wait until October for good German food, convivial company, and fine Bier und Schnapps.   Roast pork and a trio of desserts highlight a five-course, summer-time German menu designed by Claudia Metzler (Claudia’s)  This will be a casual dining experience, poolside weather permitting.

Summertime and the living is easy.  A pleasant evening stroll through one of Madison’s charming small neighborhoods reveals culinary delights in three locations.  Tapas, appetizers, hors d’oeuvres, noshes, canapés, dolci – whatever you call them, small bites are special.  Extra special is a whole evening of them coupled with the perfect tipples.

Low Country Boil

A perennial favorite, this evening’s low-country dinner will be the centerpiece of a relaxed get-together of old and new friends. The food is guaranteed authentic by your host and hostess, themselves former low-country inhabitants.  So come on by for corn, shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and yummy desserts. Dress for outdoors and ask for good weather.  (Inside will be the back-up location.)

Up The Creek – Saye, That Is

Travel along Saye Creek (Drive) with stops for hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and dessert at this progressive dinner of Southern comfort food, with maybe a hint of something farther south.  Of course, Southern comfort includes live music and fun cocktails to aid you on your journey. Cowboy casual is the suggested dress for the evening.  Note: Paddles are not required.
